A torn-up roofline after a storm isn't a "get to it next week" problem, and we don't treat it like one — Roof Repair Smedway answers, scopes the damage, and dispatches a crew across Ontario fast.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Ontario, NY job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Commercial Roofing crew we send to Ontario.
We don't treat licensing as a formality — it's proof that the person on your roof knows what they're doing and that you're covered if anything goes sideways.
Every Commercial Roofing job, from a single flashing repair to a full Ontario tear-off, gets built to the same standard: the one that holds up, not the one that's fastest to invoice.
Documentation on request, no exceptions.
Someone answers, every time, day or night.
You approve a number before the crew touches your roof.
We already know Ontario's weather patterns and permit process.
Most emergency calls we get trace back to a smaller sign that went unnoticed for weeks or months.
The earlier one of these signs gets a proper look, the smaller the repair usually stays; waiting rarely makes a roof problem cheaper to fix.
Shingles shed their protective granules as they wear down, and a gutter full of grit is an early tell.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
A gap that lets light through will let rain through eventually.
Stains grow slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until they spread.
A slow leak or failing ventilation can quietly drive up cooling costs before you notice the leak itself.
Exposed underlayment is only a temporary barrier — it's not built to handle sustained exposure.
We split our work into specific service lanes because a wind-lifted shingle and a full system replacement need completely different crews and timelines.
Read through the categories and you'll usually recognize your own roof problem in one of them — that's intentional, since we scope calls the same way we've organized this list.
When wind or hail rips open a section of roofing, we tarp it fast to stop water intrusion, then schedule the permanent fix right behind it.
From a few cracked shingles to a complete tear-off, residential jobs get scoped against manufacturer spec, not a rough guess.
Commercial roofs run different membrane systems entirely, and our crews are trained specifically on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
Scheduled maintenance catches loose flashing and clogged valleys before the next storm turns them urgent.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general repair crews often miss.
Four steps, no surprises in between — here's exactly what happens after you pick up the phone.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
Financing and insurance-claim questions are addressed at this stage.
A final walkthrough confirms everything matches the agreed scope.
We could list a dozen more reasons to work with us, but these six are the ones Ontario homeowners mention most often when they leave a review.
We give you an honest arrival window instead of a vague "sometime this week."
The number you approve in writing is the number on your final invoice, barring an approved scope change.
Our installers follow manufacturer spec on every underlayment overlap and fastener pattern, not general guesswork.
If the finished work doesn't match what was agreed, we come back and fix it at no charge.
Storm-damage jobs come with documentation formatted for how most Ontario, NY adjusters review claims.
Our technicians explain their reasoning so you're deciding with full information.
A verbal promise means nothing when you actually need it, so ours is documented and handed over at project close.
No surprise line items appear after the fact; anything that changes the scope gets discussed with you directly.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
Roof Repair Smedway dispatches Commercial Roofing crews throughout Ontario and the surrounding communities across Ontario, NY, with coverage available further out on request.
When a storm moves through Ontario, NY and call volume spikes, active leaks get prioritized first while we communicate realistic wait times for everything else.
We'd rather confirm coverage on a quick call than have a homeowner assume they're out of range and skip calling entirely.
